Today Jesus revealed something to me. Something that changed my point of view totally. Something that lifted me out of a heavy place. I have been quite emotional with what has been happening around the world lately and really looking forward to the age to come. It has become quite a challenge to stay excited about my role here on earth whilst yearning for the age to come where we will be with our beautiful Christ Jesus with no more hurt, pain, death etc. Well, today He gave me hope. Just by changing my point of view, He revived me.
What I’d like to address today is the deception that is creeping into the world today in great measures. Jesus was very clear about what's right/wrong for a reason. Our FREEDOM. Why do we humans complicate/twist the truth to satisfy the flesh? There is one book. One message. Straight forward. Full stop.
For every situation there is a scripture in the Bible that shows you how to deal with it. Jesus made sure He covered every possible situation we could ever face. Why? Because He loves us.
Today God has laid something on my heart that I believe is very important. Today the church is much more focused on works than heart. This represents a false image of Jesus Christ to the world. When the world looks at the church they need to see the Body of Christ, which includes His heart btw. Isn’t the heart the centre of the body? The heart is the organ that pumps the blood to all the organs. Without it the body cannot function. The same with the church. Without His heart we cannot function. How can we even plead the blood without the heart functioning correctly? Are we busier ‘doing’ the Kingdom than BEING the Kingdom? I am fully convinced if we allowed Jesus to truly transform our hearts, and I mean true heart surgery, total surrender, the whole world will flock to the church because of Jesus inside the church.
Tonight I got a heaviness on my heart about unity amongst believers and His church truly caring about each other. I saw angels going around the earth with a burning torch igniting believers' hearts and believers started uniting with hearts of love being released into the air.
We keep preaching, laying hands, moving in Grace but where is the place for true love? When the week starts we are all back to our lives, not truly 'connecting' with our fellow believers. Are we truly presenting the family of Christ? The family of true love and light? Have numbers, rules and regulations taken the place of true love? People are bleeding but are we seeing? Or are we casting a blind eye?
